Education and Service to the Law and in the Community
Mr. Basham comes to his lawyer teacher role through hard work and effort. He came to Bend in 1977 and taught school for several years before attending the University of Oregon School of Law.
Mr. Basham devotes time to the community. He teaches classes in the local high school in the CARE program (Credit Abuse Resistance Education.) He also educates high school students in the responsible use of credit cards.
Mr. Basham is the president of the board of the local homeless shelter. He is also a member of the following professional organizations:

- Estate Planning Section of the Oregon State Bar Associaton.
- Debtor Creditor section of the Oregon State Bar Association.
